SP/AP

In order to facilitate work in the EU Database, the European Commission has provided two methods for automatically transferring data to the database: through the Access Point Provider (AP) and Service Provider (SP) services. Both Access Point Providers and Service Providers must be designated by a voluntary system and, after passing the testing stage in the UDB test environment, approved by the European Commission to work in the UDB production environment.

Economic operators wishing to exchange information via their own ERP system can send data to the UDB in accordance with the required protocol, regardless of the type of ERP system. Such data can be transferred via:

Access Point Provider

It provides a secure connection to the UDB and is responsible for transferring data that has been correctly prepared in advance and meets the required standards. The AP enables companies to securely transfer data from their own IT systems directly to the Union Database. It acts solely as a technical intermediary – it does not read, store, or process data, nor does it share it with any other entities.

FOR WHOM?

For companies that have their own IT systems and want to automate the transfer of information to the Union Database.

Service Provider

The SP can provide extended support, such as integration with the economic operator’s existing processes, collection, organization, and adaptation of data to enable its automated transfer to the UDB, thereby reducing the administrative burden. At the same time, a provider offering the SP service may act as an AP for participants in the KZR INiG System (connecting the participant’s ready-made databases to the UDB without extended support).

FOR WHOM?

For companies that do not have their own IT systems or want to reduce administrative work. It helps with data digitization and transfer to the EU Database on behalf of the company.
